The Transparent Ultrasound Biopsy Training Model is designed for hands-on ultrasound scanning, lesion identification, and ultrasound-guided needle placement practice. Its transparent TPE construction lets learners directly observe the needle path and target position while comparing them with the ultrasound image. Four embedded lesions provide multiple targets for biopsy and needle guidance training.

Four simulated lesions are positioned at different depths and feature different ultrasound characteristics. The ultrasound biopsy phantom supports practice in locating shallow and deeper targets, identifying lesion boundaries, and planning an appropriate needle approach.
- Ultrasound Scanning & Lesion Identification:
Practice probe positioning, sliding, rotation, and pressure control while scanning the model from different angles. Learners can work on recognizing lesion shape, location, margins, and ultrasound appearance before advancing to needle placement.
- In-Plane Needle Guidance Practice:
The ultrasound guided biopsy phantom is suitable for practicing in-plane needle insertion, needle-tip tracking, insertion angle, depth control, and accurate targeting of simulated lesions under real-time ultrasound guidance.
- Reusable TPE for Repeated Training:
Made from soft TPE with good ultrasound transmission, the model supports repeated scanning and puncture practice for classroom demonstrations, skills labs, and individual training. Medical ultrasound gel and 18G–21G needles are recommended.
